I am glad I got to know Kai Yan.

He was a wonderful young man with a cheery disposition always looking at things from the brighter side of life. We got to know each other over Multiply. It was always fun reading his blog entries whether it was about food or the happenings around the home.

Eventually we eventually met. I still remember him turning up at my folks place in his Kangoo with two mandarin oranges and a big grin on his face, one Chinese new year.

He brought much joy and laughter into my life and I suspect the lives of everyone around him were similarly touched.

He now sits at God's side free from the pains and sufferings of this mortal world. Gone you may be, but never forgotten.

  1. Yes. The ones left behind need support at this time. Condolences especially to his family.
